TOday Proverbs 22:6 sticks out for me. “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
I am proof of that verse. When I was in my 20’s I went away from the Lord for a while. I did come back. I came back because I was reared with a good foundation on the Word of God.
I know have a wayward child. I pray that she proves this verse as well. We did raise her to love the Lord, to serve Him, to attend church and to live righteously. Now….she has gone away from the lord. She isn’t old yet, so I pray that she will soon return to Him.
